Chancellor's Message

The establishment of the university is in pursuance of the government’s policy to make higher education accessible to all strata of society so that the educational output in the shape of trained human resource contributes to the overall development of the province of Balochistan. I am sure the level of commitment on part of all concerned will soon earn significant place for University of Turbat in the list of leading institutions of higher learning in the country.

I would like to convey me felicitations to Vice Chancellor, his energetic faculty, staff and students for the growth of UoT in quick time. Imparting quality and standard education with completion of academic sessions in timely manner, successfully holding of first convocation of the university shifting of academic activities in the newly constructed campus, is the result of tireless efforts that deserves all appreciations; indeed. University of Turbat is a gateway of opportunities of acquiring top of the line education in different contemporary disciplines at large.

Given the strategic location of the University at heart of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and its viability as a key driver of socio-economic development, as Chancellor of the University, I am confident that effort to excel in the field of higher education and the inculcation of moral values in the students at the University Campus will continue in future with greater zeal. I take pride in the fact that the university is wholeheartedly achieving its major goal of remaining true to principles of merit, selfless services and, utmost objectivity that certainly promotes a viable society.

Government of Balochistan is putting in its best effort and channelizing available resources to transform the Universities in the province into stat-of-the-art institutions of international repute that are equipped with latest teaching techniques, training equipment and technology. In future also, Balochistan government will continue to extend its full support in making the universities prestigious academic and research institutions of the country. I assure that the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and government of Balochistan will continue to support the UOT wholeheartedly with regard to the additional infrastructure and staffing needs of this fast growing university. I hope to see this dynamic institution of higher education increasingly play its role in providing visibility and professional advice for the social and intellectual uplift of the people both at regional level and at provincial level at large. I further hope that the would continue their industrious efforts and work incessantly for completing one milestone after another and bringing the varsity at par with the top institutions of higher learning in the country.
