VC UoT calls on Governor Balochistan

The Governor Balochistan Amanullah Khan Yasinzai has said that like other parts of the country, the youth of Turbat has realized the requirements of changing world and today they are paying full attention towards acquiring higher education which is surely a guarantee of their bright future.
He expressed these views while talking to the Vice Chancellor of University of Turbat Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir on 26th January 2021 in Governor House Quetta.
Amanullah Khan Yasinzai said that education and development go hand in hand and it is the fundamental factors of progress and prosperity.
He said that the Turbat University is not only providing the qualified human resource for the development of the country and Balochistan but also facilitating the students of adjoining areas with quality education at their doorstep.
He said that with the western route of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the importance of Turbat University has been increased and graduates of all Public Sector Universities of the province will play an important role in the development of the country and the province.
Appreciating the tireless efforts of the Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir and his entire for bringing Turbat University on the path of development in a very short span of time Governor Yasinzai said that it is imperative that responsible persons of all universities should enhance their efforts for brining further improvement in the performance of their institutions. He assured his full support for further progress of higher education institutions in the province.
Apprising the Governor Balochistan regarding achievements accomplished by Turbat University in 2020, Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir said that no country can achieve sustainable economic development without substantial investment in the institutions of higher education. The university education improves the quality of life of the people and leads them to broad social benefits. It increases people's creativity and promotes entrepreneur skills and technological innovation, adding that prospects of future generations of the region is linked with the University of Turbat and its sub-campuses in Gwadar and Panjgur.
