Applications are invited from the male/female candidates for appointment against the following posts for University of Turbat’s Sub Campuses at Panjgur and Gwadar:

A:  PANJGUR SUB CAMPUS:

1- Professor (on contract basis)

5- Assistant Director (Academics)   (on contract basis)

MBA/M.Sc./MA in 1st division from a recognized University with minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in the relevant field in University/Govt College/ Government or Semi-Government Department/ Autonomous Organization. Knowledge of Basic Computer Skills is necessary.

(Max age limit is 35 years, however for candidates already serving in a Govt. or Semi-Govt. organization or HEI, the age limit can accordingly be adjusted)

6- Assistant Director (Finance) BPS-17 (on contract basis)

MBA (Finance), M. Com or ACMA in 1st  Division from a HEC recognized University with 3 years’ post qualification experience in relevant field  in a university/ Govt College/Government Department/ Autonomous Organization.

Knowledge of Basic Computer Skills is necessary. Having command on Accounts related software will be additional qualification.

B:  GWADAR SUB CAMPUS:

1. Professor (BPS-21/TTS)

3.  Assistant Professor (BPS-19/TTS)

4.   Assistant Director (Exams) BPS-17 (on contract basis)

MBA or M.Sc. /M.A in 1st Division from a recognized University with minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience in relevant field in a University or other educational institution/Government or semi Govt Department/ Autonomous Organization. Knowledge of Basic Computer Skills is necessary.

5.   Assistant System Engineer/Network Engineer BPS-16 (on contract basis)

BSCS (4 years)/BS IT (4 years)/BS SE (4 years)/MCS/M.Sc. IT or equivalent qualification in 1st Division from HEC accredited institution/University. Preference will be given to MCITP certified with a strong knowledge of managing/designing active Directory infrastructure. Must have strong Knowledge of Virtualization /Cloud Computing/ Clustering and SAN/NAS deployment Experience. Should be able to administrate SQL databases, MS TMG, SharePoint MS- Exchange and core services.

6.   Junior Clerk BPS-11 (on contract basis)

BA/BSC (at least Second Division) with typing speed of 30 words per minute. Should have knowledge of basic computer skills and experience of administrative work of at least 2 years in a Govt or reputable Private Organization.

7. Security Assistant (B-14) (Main Campus)

MA/M.Sc. in 1st Division with three years experience in the relevant field. Knowledge of Basic Computer Skills is necessary.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

1. The application forms are available at UoT website https://uot.edu.pk/careers

2.  Applicants already in service should apply through proper channel by the due date and submit service certificate issued by their present and former employers otherwise their application will not be considered. 

3. The applicants for the post of Professor and Associate Professor are required to submit 5 sets of their applications/dossiers along with attested copies of degree/certificates, five photographs/NIC/detailed marks sheet of the examinations passed/experience certificates and research publications. For other posts one set of the documents should be submitted with two photographs.

4. For post of Lecturer, Assistant Director and System Engineer, the candidates will have to clear NTS Test except those having a PhD degree. For Senior Faculty positions, the criteria laid down by HEC will be applicable.

5. Application process fee of Rs.2000/- in the shape of Bank Draft/Bank Challan/Bankers cheque in favor of the University of Turbat must be attached along with application form for all posts except Junior Clerk. For the post of Junior Clerk the processing Fee is Rs. 1000/- only.

6. Incomplete applications or those received after the last date will not be considered.

7. Canvassing in any manner or form will disqualify the candidates.

8. Only short listed candidates will be called for the interview

9. No. T.A/ D.A. will be given

10. Last date for submission of application forms is 15th December, 2020
