Lecture Session on “Understanding the process of starting of your own business” at UoT’s Gwadar Campus

The Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at the University of Turbat (UOT), in collaboration with UoT’s Gwadar Campus, organized a lecture session on “Understanding the process of starting your own business” at Seminar Hall of Gwadar Campus on 2nd September 2021
The Guest Speaker, Mr. Iqbal Waheed, a consultant, businessman, and Entrepreneur shared his decade’s long business experiences and expertise in different sectors including marketing & finance, infrastructure strategy, project management, business entrepreneurship, building & construction, and import & export.
He motivated the students to establish and grow up their own businesses for leading a successful, prosperous, and happier life. During the session, he also underlined the opportunities for business in different sectors in Pakistan. He also pinned point the challenges and its solution of starting own business, rules of import/export business, and way how to register your own business in Pakistan or internationally. Speaking on the occasion, Campus Director Ijaz Ahmed thanked the Guest speaker and Dr. Glam Jan for organizing sessions and workshops on contemporary topics for the students and faculty members of Gwadar Campus. He said that under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, the University of Turbat was making utmost efforts to find out new vistas of opportunities for the students and faculty members.
Speaking on the occasion, Director ORIC Dr. Ghulam Jan highlighted the important tactics and attributes which can be helpful for the students to start their own business. In-charge of ORIC at Gwadar Campus, Mr. Saghee Nasim was the coordinator of the session. The session was attended by the students and faculty members. In the end, the participants asked relevant questions which were professionally answered by the Guest Speaker.
