Prof. Dr. Aftab Ahmed Shaikh visits UoT’s Gwadar Campus

Prof. Dr. Aftab Ahmed Shaikh, Chairperson Computer Science Department, Sindh Maderssatul Islam University, Karachi visited the University of Turbat’s Gwadar Campus on 22nd September 2021. He was warmly welcomed by the Campus Director Ijaz Ahmed along with faculty members. Besides the achievements of UoT’s Gwadar Campus in a short span of time, the Campus Director briefed him regarding progress towards transforming this campus into a full-fledged university. In-charge Computer Science Department Muhammad Akram, In-charge Commerce Department Mujahid Hussain, Assistant Director Administration, Abdul Majid, and Office Secretary Iftikhar Ahmed were also present on the occasion. In-charge I.T Section Mr. Muhammad Akram apprised the visitor regarding IT facilities available for the students and faculty members on the campus.
Appreciating the achievements accomplished by UoT’s Gwadar Campus in a short span of time due to teamwork, he expressed his desire to extend every support possible for the further development of the campus in general and the Computer Science Department/IT Section in particular. He was optimistic that under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, the University of Turbat would find a place among the best universities in the country.
Dr. Aftab Ahmed Shaikh also visited campus library, computer labs, classrooms, seminar hall and other facilities of the campus.
The campus director presented him a shield on behalf of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad.
