The COAS visited University of Turbat

The Chief Of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the University of Turbat (UoT) on 1st March 2022 and had a detailed interactive session with a large number of representatives from all segments of society, including local leaders/notables, tribal elders, students, faculty, lawyers and women. VC UoT, Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, and officers from Armed Forces and Civil Administration accorded him a warm welcome on arrival at University.
Speaking on the occasion, COAS General Qamar Bajwa said that Balochistan youth is very talented and must capitalize on the available opportunities being created for their education and skill development. He also encouraged the youth to join local law enforcement agencies (LEAs) and contribute towards the security and stability of the area. "Peace and prosperity of Balochistan is the top priority and Pakistan Army will do all to provide a peaceful environment for population-centric socio-economic projects in Balochistan," the COAS reiterated. He said that the people of Balochistan have given great sacrifices for development and stability. "Through comprehensive national effort, the true potential of Balochistan will be realized," concluded the COAS.
