A literary program organized at UoT in the honor of Mubarak Qazi

A literary event was organized under the auspices of the English Department, University of Turbat (UoT) on the 16th of March, 2022 to honor the invaluable services of renowned Baloch poet Mubarak Qazi. He was the guest of honor of the event. The program was attended by all literature-loving students, faculty members, and administrative staff of the University of Turbat.
Prof. Dr. Abdul Saboor Baloch, Dean Faculty of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities along with Ganguzar Baloch, Registrar UoT, Amjed Habib, Acting Chairman, English Department, Dr. Shah Mir Baloch, Dr. Adnan Riaz, Mr. Mazhar Ali and other faculty members from English Department and Institute of Balochi Language and Culture (IBLC) warmly received and welcomed him on his arrival at university. A tremendous wave of delight and happiness prevailed among students of the University to find Mubarak Qazi among them. He was greeted enthusiastically and heartily by his literary fans.
Later on, Mubarak Qazi was called on the stage amid the thunderous clapping of students. Besides underscoring the significance of literature, the well-known poet also recited some of his popular poetry which were lauded and cheered by the participants. In the presence of Mubarak Qazi, students from IBLC and English Department also presented their creative poetry.
Earlier, Professor Dr. Abdul Saboor Baloch, while welcoming the guest of honor highlighted the invaluable services of Mubarak Qazi for Balochi literature. He expressed his gratitude to him for his valuable time and presence at the university.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Amjed Habib paid huge tribute to the living legend of Balochi poetry. He said that the beautiful verses of Mubarak Qazi and his contributions to Balochi literature are unprecedented. He thanked him for his precious time spared for the students of the University of Turbat.
Mr. Amjed Ali also appreciated the role of Dr. Shah Mir Baloch for masterminding such a wonderful program. Furthermore, Mubarak Qazi presented his collection of poetry to Amjed Habib and Dr. Shah Mir Baloch. Dr. Ghafoor Shad and Professor Nadeem Akram also spoke on the occasion.
