Vice Chancellor presided over the 14th meeting of ASRB of Turbat University

Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, Vice Chancellor (VC), University of Turbat (UoT) has said that it is heartwarming that due to the joint efforts of the faculty members and administration, Turbat University is now considered one of the leading research and higher education institutes in the country. He expressed these views while presiding over the 14th meeting of the Advance Studies & Research Board (ASRB) of UoT, which was held in the video conference room of the university on 30th November 2022. In his opening remarks, VC informed the meeting that the University of Turbat has recently got the member of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI), which is a global acknowledgment of the tireless efforts of the Turbat University fraternity in the field of higher education. The UoT’s registrar Ganguzar Baloch presented the agenda of the meeting that included confirmation of the minutes of the 13th meeting of ASRB, theses submitted by MS/MPhil Scholars, thesis evaluation reports, synopsis, and viva voce reports of MS/MPhil scholars of Business Administration, Balochi, and Chemistry for deliberation and decision. Besides the graduate rule and selection of a co-supervisor for an MPhil Chemistry scholar, other agenda items related to promoting quality research activities in the university were also brought to the forum for discussion and approval accordingly.  The registrar also presented a detailed report of the implementation of the decisions taken in the previous meeting of the ASRB. Those who attended the meeting were Dr. Mansoor Ahmed, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Abdul Saboor Baloch, Dean, Faculty of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, Dr. Haneef Ur Rehman, Dean, of Science and Engineering, Dr. Wseem Barkat, Dean, Faculty of Economics, Commerce and Management Sciences, Dr. Adeel Ahmed, Dean Academics, Dr. Riaz Ahmed, Director QEC, Shakeel Ahmed, Controller of Examinations, Dr Idrees Waris, Director Academics, Principal Govt Atta Shad Degree COllege Turbat and Govt Degree College Buleda attended the ASRB meeting.
