UoT Education Students Present Innovative Proposals at Research Consortium

The Department of Education at the University of Turbat (UoT) organized a Research Consortium on November 27, 2025, under the supervision of Dr. Mahnaz Aslam, Chairperson of the Department. During the event, sixth-semester students presented innovative research proposals on a wide range of contemporary educational themes. Each presentation was followed by constructive discussion, in which faculty members and peers provided constructive feedback to further strengthen the proposed studies.

According to the university’s spokesperson, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Turbat, Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, he commended the Department Chairperson and faculty for nurturing a research-oriented learning environment in their department. He also acknowledged the students’ keen interest and enthusiasm for research activities. The Vice Chancellor encouraged young and emerging researchers to explore innovative and relevant research areas that can contribute to raising the education standard in Balochistan. He reaffirmed the University’s commitment to mobilizing all available resources to promote high-quality research.
Earlier, Dr. Mahnaz Aslam outlined the objectives of the Research Consortium, stating that the Department aims to continue organizing similar initiatives to nurture student researchers, teacher education, and further strengthen the academic environment of the University.

According to the spokesperson, the event was also visited by Deans of various faculties, along with the university’s academic and administrative leadership and faculty members. They appreciated the growing research culture among students and encouraged them to pursue methodologically rigorous and impactful research that addresses indigenous educational challenges.
