Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Programs
- Applicants must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in Intermediate or an equivalent qualification for admission to all Undergraduate programs, except for the BSCS and LLB (4 years) programs.
- Applicants must have secured at least 50% marks in F.Sc./ICS or equivalent for the BSCS program, and 50% marks in Intermediate or equivalent for the LLB program, from a recognized board.
- All applicants must pass the entry test administered by the University, except for those applying to the LLB, AD Education, and BS Education programs.
- Applicants who have passed the Law Admission Test (LAT) administered by HEC with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible for admission to the LLB program.
- Applicants for the AD Education or BS Education program must pass an entry test administered by a designated testing service arranged by the University.
- Applicants for the BS (2 years) programs must have completed an Associate Degree (AD) in the same discipline with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 from an HEC-recognized institution. Applicants must pass the entry test conducted by the University for admission to these programs.
- The candidates who are waiting for their HSSC results can apply on the basis of Hope Certificate for BS programs.
- For B.Ed. (1.5 years) The candidates MUST have at least 16 years of Education (academic disciplines other than Education, i.e., MA Education or MEd), including MA / MSc / BS (04 Years) with a minimum of second division or equivalent
- For B.Ed. (2.5 years) The candidates MUST have at least 14 years of Education (academic disciplines other than Education (BA/BSc/ADA/ADS or equivalent) with a minimum of second division or equivalent.
- Reserved seats are available for UoT employees’ children, foreign students, special and sports persons, religious minorities, children of advocates, and applicants from other provinces, including FATA, GB, and AJ&K, as per university policy
Eligibility Criteria For Graduate Programs
- For M.Phil/MS and MBA (1.5 years), sixteen years of education or equivalent degree (minimum 120 credit hours) in the relevant discipline from any HEC-recognized university with a CGPA of at least 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 (semester system) or 50% marks (annual system), as per HEC rules.
- For MBA (2.5 years), sixteen years of education in any discipline from a HEC-recognized university with a CGPA of at least 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 (semester system) or 50% marks (annual system), as per HEC rules.
- For PhD Programs, 30 credit hours M. Phil/MS or equivalent degree with a CGPA of 3.00 on a scale of 4.00 or 60% marks (annual system) in the relevant subject from any HEC-recognized university.
- The candidate must submit a valid GAT/GRE (General)/ HAT-II or qualify an equivalent test to be conducted by the University with at least a 50% score for admission in MS/M. Phil and MBA Programs,
while a 60% score for admission in PhD Programs, as per HEC rules. - The applicant for PhD programs should submit a Statement of Purpose, which details are available at the link https://uot.edu.pk/statement-of-purpose-phd
Important instructions
- All educational certificates and mark sheets (Matric, Intermediate, Bachelor, Master, and M. Phil/MS), Local/ domicile certificate, Applicant’s/father’s CNIC, 4 Passport-size photographs.
- Candidates coming from other universities will need to submit the Migration Certificate in original at the time of admission.
- All Government employees are required to submit NOC.
- Classes for self-Finance programs will be conducted at the Law Faculty Building, Capt.(R) Tariq Shaheed Road, Turbat City.
Application Processing Fee
- Rs. 500/- for the Undergraduate Programs in the case entry test conducted by UoT and Rs. 1500/- in the case entry test conducted by a testing service.
- Rs. 2000/- for the M.Phil/MS and MBA programs, Rs. 3000/- for the PhD programs.
- The application processing fee can be deposited in UoT’s A/C No.1040-7900525001 at HBL through challan/online, or by demand draft in favor of Registrar, or Director Finance, University of Turbat.
Admission Schedule
- The last date for submission of the application form is 15th September 2025.
- Test and interview dates will be announced later.
- The classes will commence from the 1st week of January 2026.
