First Batch of UoT’s Gwadar Campus passed out, Farewell program arranged

The First Batch (2017-2020) of the Gwadar Campus of University of Turbat (UoT) has been passed out. A colorful programme was organized by the students of batch-II on 24th February 2021 to give a farewell to the students of Batch-I, who recently completed their four years bachelor degree program from UoT’s Gwadar Campus.
All faculty members, admin staff and students were present on the occasion.
Programme started with the speeches by the organizing students in which they recalled their memoirs spent with outgoing students.
The outgoing students received bundles of felicitations and best wishes from students, faculty members and administrative staff for their future success and they were bestowed with the title of Varsity Campus Ambassadors.
Event was decorated with extraordinary creative performances like dramas, poems, songs, ghazal and skit, in which students showcased their best talent to convert this program into an extremely memorable and sentimental event.
The surprise question answer session of the event exceptionally amused and entertained the audience. A video was also played which recapped the memoirs of the students from 2017 to 2020 which was highly cheered by the audience.
Addressing the students, Campus Director Ijaz Ahmed conveyed the message of best wishes of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir for the outgoing students.
He emphasized the importance of commitment and determination in the life of students for leading a successful life. He wished best of luck to the graduating students for their new journey of professional life. He commended the organizing committee of the event for setting a trend by organizing such a creative program on the university campus. He termed this day a historical day for teachers, staff, students, parents and people of Gwadar. He said this farewell was a festivity to celebrate the four years success story of the campus.
Addressing the occasion, Incharge Education department Sadia Naseer said that being senior and first graduating students of this varsity campus, you all made us proud and now it’s our collective responsibility to carry forward the legacy. She said that by organizing such a healthy event, the junior students had an opportunity to express their talent on the stage.
Faculty members Fida Fahiz, Mukhtar Bashir, Shahnaz Noor, Haim Gul and Mir Bilal Khan shared their best wishes for outgoing students through video link.
Outgoing students said “It seems like yesterday when we joined this prestigious institution because we all acclimatized with the environment of this university very quickly. Earlier we thought that campus life will be so boring but this campus never makes us feel like that and it happened awesome for us in all ways”. They thanked all teachers and staff for not only providing them a favorable environment for learning but also the moral values which were inculcated in students which is more necessary in today’s world.
