IGFC urges student's role in nation-building

The Inspector General Frontier Corps (IGFC) Balochistan (South) Major General Ayman Bilal Safdar HI (M) visited University of Turbat on 9th March, 2021. Vice Chancellor of University of Turbat Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir and his staff warmly welcomed the IGFC.
Besides conducting meeting with the Vice Chancellor, Major General Safdar had interactive sessions with faculty members and students in Video Conference Room and Multipurpose Hall.
Brigadier Abdullah Saeed, University’s Registrar Ghulam Farooq, Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Abdul Saboor, Dean Faculty of Legal Education Prof. Dr. Gull Hasan, Dean Faculty of Science and Engineering Dr. Naeemullah, Controller of Examinations Tanvir Ahmed, Director Finance Shabek Syed, Director UoT’s Gwadar Campus Ijaz Ahmed, Deputy Registrar Ganguzar Baloch, Chairpersons of different department, faulty members and students in large number attended the interactive sessions.
Speaking on the occasion, Major General Safdar highlighted the role of teachers and students in the nation building. He said that universities could play an effective role in development and prosperity of the nation. He urged students to pay full attention to acquiring education as they were the future of the nation.
He appreciated efforts of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir and teaching and admin staff for the achievements accomplished by the Turbat University over the last eight years.
He also responded to questions asked by the faculty and students on various issues during interactive sessions.
The Vice Chancellor thanked the IGFC for his visit to the Varsity and taking keen interest in the development of the Turbat University. Earlier, VC briefed the visitors regarding academic and infrastructural progress of the university in short span of time. They also exchanged shields of their respective institutions. Major General Safdar also planted a tree at the green built of the university.
