Around 2000 candidates appear in University of Turbat’s Entrance Examinations

A record number of around 2,000 candidates from different areas of Balochistan appeared in the entry test conducted by the University of Turbat for admission to various Graduate and Master Programs for the university’s spring session 2022. The entry test was conducted on the 8th and 9th of January for admission to 12 academic departments. The candidates included 40 percent female students. Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Turbat, along with Dr. Mansoor Ahmed Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Abdul Saboor Baloch, Dean, Faculty of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, and Ganguzar Baloch, UoT’s Registrar visited all entry test centers and appreciated the deans, head of teaching departments, admission cell and administrative staff of the university for conducting the test in an organized and systematic manner. The Vice-Chancellor has said that it was very encouraging that such a large number of people from all over Balochistan were taking interest in getting admission to the university. This truly depicts the growing trust of the society in the University of Turbat for providing quality education to students all across the province. Moreover, around 500 applications have also been received for admissions in different academic programs of the University of Turbat’s Sub-Campus at Panjgur. According to the admission cell of the University of Turbat, the admission process in the main campus will be completed with the next week, and classes for the Spring Session of 2022 will commence by the end of January 2022. The University has declared last Saturday and Sunday as working days for the admission test and also provided transportation facilities to all candidates in Turbat city and its adjacent areas.
