Governor Balochistan praises Turbat University’s progression.

The Governor Balochistan/Chancellor, Public Sector Universities (PSUs)of Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar was briefed about the progress of the University of Turbat (UoT) by the officials of the University at the Governor's Secretariat Quetta here on 13th April 2023. The briefing was attended by Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, Vice Chancellor UoT, Mr. Nasir Dotani, Principal Secretary to Governor Balochistan, Mr. Shahbek Syed, Treasurer UoT, Mr. Atta-ur-Rehman, Additional Secretary to Governor and Meer Bahad, Protocol Officer UoT.
The UoT’s Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr. Mansoor Ahmed briefed Governor Balochistan about the progress of all departments and different matters of the University, while UoT’s Project Director Dr. Kamal Ahmed informed the Governor about the progress of the Turbat University project. Governor Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar lauded the University of Turbat for making outstanding progress within a short space of time. He hailed the efforts of UoT’s faculty and officials under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor for accomplishing remarkable achievements and maintaining financial discipline at the University. The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad extended profound gratitude to the Governor for taking up the serious matters of financial problems of all universities in Balochistan, particularly the solarization of Turbat University, during his recent meeting with the Chairman of HEC in Islamabad. After this, the solarization funds of Turbat University have been released. The Governor assured his support to cope with the financial issues of the university. In the end, the Vice Chancellor invited the Governor to visit the University. The Governor said that he would visit Turbat University soon.
