BHC Senior Judge spends an insightful day at UoT’s Law Faculty

The Senior Judge of the Balochistan High Court (BHC) Hon’ble Mr. Justice Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar visited the Faculty of Law in the City Campus of the University of Turbat (UoT) on 5th October 2023. Pro-Vice Chancellor of UoT, Dr. Mansoor Ahmed, and Registrar Ganguzar Baloch along with faculty members of the Law Department warmly welcomed the Hon’ble Justice upon their arrival at the City Campus of UoT.
On this occasion, Commissioner Makran Division Saeed Ahmed Umrani, Deputy Commissioner Kech Hussain Jan Baloch, and C&W officials briefed the Hon’ble Justice about the ongoing development projects of the Law Faculty.
The Hon’ble Justice interacted with the would-be graduating law students and delivered a lecture on the importance of law as a profession. He responsively listened to the students' concerns, including study tours, moot court & and internet connectivity.
The Hon’ble Justice also visited the University Public Library and reviewed the facilities available for male and female students at the library. He directed the PTCL officials to restore the internet connection of the Public Library immediately, enabling students to take benefits from IT facilities for their academic pursuits. The Hon’ble Justice also inspected the recently renovated Conference Hall of the Law Faculty. He urged the Project Director to complete the under-construction main gate of the City Campus at the earliest. On behalf of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, the Pro-Vice Chancellor expressed gratitude to Hon’ble Justice Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar for dedicating time from his busy schedule to visit the Law Faculty of the University of Turbat.
