VCs of UoT and UoG Emphasize AI Education, Curriculum Innovation, and Quality Research

Vice Chancellor of the University of Gwadar, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, met with Vice Chancellor of the University of Turbat (UoT), Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, at UoT on October 3, 2025. The two leaders held in-depth discussions on advancing higher education and addressing the challenges faced by the higher education sector in the region.

The meeting particularly focused on artificial intelligence, modern technology, digital skills, and incorporating innovation into curricula and teaching methods in line with contemporary needs. Both Vice Chancellors underscored the importance of collaborative efforts to secure a brighter future for students, enabling them to contribute effectively to the socio-economic development of the province and the country.

It was agreed that University of Gwadar students will be provided access to the laboratories of the University of Turbat for practical training in science disciplines. The two universities also committed to strengthening cooperation in quality research, training, curricular and extracurricular activities, and academic publications.

On this occasion, Gwadar University Vice Chancellor presented his authored books as a gift for the libraries of Turbat University.

UoT’s Registrar, Ganguzar Baloch, Director Public Relations, Ijaz Ahmed, Principal Staff Officer to the Vice Chancellor of Turbat University, Mir Bahad Baloch, and Principal Staff Officer to the Vice Chancellor of Gwadar University, Dr. Muhammad Irshad Buledi, were also present on the occasion.
