UoT’s Sociology Department Hosts Memorable Farewell to Honour Graduating Batch

The Department of Sociology, University of Turbat (UoT), organized a heartfelt and vibrant farewell ceremony on November 4, 2025, in honor of the outgoing Batch 2022–2025. The event celebrated the academic journey, achievements, and cherished memories of the graduating students, marking the successful completion of their undergraduate studies.
The farewell program featured a rich blend of emotional and cultural segments. Students delivered reflective speeches highlighting their academic experiences, personal growth, and gratitude for the department’s support throughout their educational journey. Members of the graduating batch shared their experiences, acknowledging the role of faculty, friends, and the university environment in shaping their academic and personal development.
Adding to the festive spirit, students presented diverse cultural performances, including classical songs, poetry recitations, do chabi, drama presentations, and musical performances. Renowned Balochi artists offered soulful renditions that celebrated the cultural heritage of the region and enhanced the event’s atmosphere of joy and pride.
Addressing the ceremony, the Dean of the Faculty Dr. Muhammad Tahir Hakeem and the Chairperson of the Department of Sociology Dr. Muhammad Yaseen congratulated the graduating students and commended them for their dedication and resilience throughout their academic journey. They emphasized the value of sociological knowledge in shaping socially responsible citizens and encouraged the graduates to continue working hard toward their dreams, community betterment, and professional success.
They highlighted the importance of academic excellence, ethical conduct, and continuous learning as essential qualities for success in their upcoming careers and higher studies.
