Turbat University 23rd ASRB Meeting Emphasizes Strengthening Research and Academic Standards

The 23rd meeting of the Advanced Studies & Research Board (ASRB) of the University of Turbat (UoT), chaired by UoT’s Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan was held at the university video conference room, on November 14, 2025. The agendas related to synopsis defenses, thesis submissions, evaluations, and viva reports of various graduate programs were presented by Dr. Waseem Barkat, Director, Graduate Studies.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the active participation and valuable input of all members and reiterated the university’s commitment to strengthening its research and academic standards. He further emphasized the need for conducting research workshops and sessions to promote a stronger research environment. The Vice Chancellor praised the efforts of the Director, Graduate Studies, and his team for consistently organizing ASRB meetings at regular intervals, saying that this practice is instrumental in strengthening the university’s graduate research framework and maintaining high academic standards. The meeting was attended by the UoT’s Pro Vice-Chancellor, Faculty Deans, senior faculty members, Registrar, Director QEC, Controller of Examinations, and the Principal of Government Shaheed Ayoub Buledi College, Turbat.
