Turbat University’s Management Sciences Department Conducts Session on Entrepreneurial Mindset

An online session on “Entrepreneurial Mindset” was conducted by the Department of Management Sciences, University of Turbat (UoT) on November 13, 2025. Students and faculty members from the Departments of Management Sciences, Chemistry, Education, Commerce, and Economics attended the session. Faculty and students from colleges affiliated with the University of Turbat were also present on the occasion. The resource person of the session, Professor Dr. Shahid Qureshi, Rector, GIFT University, provided valuable insights into the concepts of entrepreneurship and the Birds-in-Hand Principle, and emphasized their growing importance in the modern entrepreneurial landscape. The discussion encouraged students to think innovatively and adopt an entrepreneurial mindset aligned with emerging digital trends. Professor Dr. Shahid Qureshi encouraged students to come up with new ideas for doing something for themselves and society.
The Head of the Department of Management Sciences, Dr. Ghulam Jan, appreciated the efforts and time of Professor Dr. Shahid Qureshi for sharing his knowledge with the students. He also acknowledged the active participation of faculty members, including Mr. Chakar Faiz, and appreciated the presence of teachers from different colleges who attended the session.
