Pro-Chancellor's Message

It’s a great honor to serve as the Pro-Chancellor of the University of Turbat, one of the leading universities in Balochistan and a fast-emerging institution in Pakistan. It is a fruitful addition to the world of higher education and research aiming to produce qualified and skillful human resources and future leaders who can sit in the driving seat of the development process and change the future of society.

 I firmly believe that the University of Turbat possesses the necessary capabilities to equip its graduates to meet the challenges of this competitive world. I am pleased to witness the university's commitment to providing a conducive learning environment for both male and female students and imparting ethical and moral values among our graduates to foster self-awareness and respect for humanity.

I encourage the University of Turbat to expand its collaborations with national and international institutions to ensure its further progress and sustainability. It is essential for our faculty members and students to engage in quality research that not only benefits society but also offers solutions to regional and global challenges. I envisioned the University of Turbat becoming a center of technologically advanced knowledge in South Balochistan, dedicated to fostering academic excellence, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

It is crucial to maintain academic freedom in all universities in Balochistan, focusing on promoting transparency by providing stakeholders with complete and accurate information to help them make informed decisions regarding higher education and the betterment of the institution. It is important for all universities to establish a transparent mechanism where all stakeholders have access to not only decisions made but also to the processes and procedures of decision-making, including university policies, and financial, academic, and infrastructural progress.

Our priority is to resolve the key issues of all universities to bring about tangible changes in the higher education sector in Balochistan. I assure to extend my all-out support to take the universities in Balochistan at the highest standards of education, nurturing a culture of curiosity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning. I encourage all universities in Balochistan to explore new avenues for learning and skill enhancement, preparing students for availing the opportunities available in various sectors at national and international levels.
