VC UoT presided over different sessions in Gwadar Book Festival 2018

Turbat University’s Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir, on 18th March 2018, presided over different sessions in the closing day of the Gwadar Book Festival 2018.
Presiding over a session on “Balochistan History, Civilization and Cultural Heritage” VC UoT identified many archeological sites and monuments across Balochistan which attract scholars to conduct research on it.
Congratulating the management of RCD Council Gwadar for organizing such a mega literary and recreational event successfully, Prof Dr Sabir said now Gwadar Book Festival has been turning to be distinction for Gwadar countrywide. In another session he paid tributes to the services rendered by “Abdullah Jan Jamaldini” in promoting Balochi Culture and Language across the world.
Addressing in the opening day of the Festival on 15th March 2018, director Finance Ghulam Farooq Baloch, a famous progressive writer from Balochistan highlighted the literary contributions of Ustad Abdul Majeed Gwadari.
The students of UoT Gwadar Campus also presented a play in Festival which was highly cheered and lauded by the audience.
The 4-day Gwadar literary and Book Festival continued from 15th -18th March, was attended by prominent scholars, writer, journalists, professors, politicians, Booksellers and Publishers, artists, hsitorians, teachers and students in large number.
