Sociology students of the University of Turbat visited the District and Sessions Court and the Qazi Court on November 6, 2026 to gain first-hand knowledge of how the legal system functions in practice. The visit was led by course instructor Dolat Khan. During the visit, the students observed different courtroom setups and learnt how judges conduct trials. They also saw how criminal cases are handled in court and gained insight into the practical workings of law enforcement and crime control beyond what is taught in textbooks.

Head of the Sociology Department Dr Nadil Shah thanked court officials, the Kech Bar Association and its newly elected president, Rustum Jan Gichki, for facilitating the visit. He also acknowledged the support of advocates Ijaz Ahmed, Majeed Dashti and Abid Umer for their guidance and support in making the visit a success. He also thanked Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, and the university administration for encouraging such experiential learning activities.
