8th meeting of Syndicate held in UoT

In order to enhance academic profile of the institution the Syndicate of University of Turbat (UoT) took several significant decisions regarding affiliation of BS/ADE programs of the colleges of this region to University of Turbat, establishing a sub campus at Panjgur, university’s annual report 2018 and confirmation of the minutes of the meetings held previously like Academic Council, Finance and Planning Committee, Selection Board and Selection Committee. The syndicate also approved to start classes in Panjgur campus soon after releasing of funds from provincial government.
The 8th meeting of the Syndicate held on 8th March 2019 at UoT committee room, was chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, who briefed the Syndicate on academic reforms and achievements earned in 2018 and the future roadmap of the university.
Appreciation the role of the syndicate for promoting learning environment and research activities in university the vice chancellor Prof Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir said that the momentous decision will help to promote quality education in this region. He said despite limited resources the administration and faculty members of the university were managing to provide conducive learning environment and other facilities to the students. VC informed the syndicate that the sub campus of the university at Gwadar had been transformed into a full-fledged university.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Manzoor Ahmed Professor from Lasbella University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS), Senior Advocate Mehrab Khan Gichki, UoT registrar Ghulam Farooq Baloch, faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Dean Prof Dr. Abdul Saboor, QEC director Prof Dr. Gul Hassan, controller examinations Tanvir Ahmed and director finance Rehmatullah.
