HEC team visits UoT’s Panjgur Campus

A team from HEC Islamabad regarding accreditation of the newly established Panjgur Campus of the University of Turbat on 15^th December 2020. The team also visited Main Campus, and Gwadar Campus of the University on 14^th December and 16th December 2020 respectively. The team, which included Aamir Shehzad Head of Accreditation & Attestation of HEC, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ramzan of Behria University Islamabad and Prof. Dr. Azhar Ahmed of International Islamic University Islamabad, before their visit to Panjgur Campus called upon Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Vice Chancellor of University of Turbat in the main campus on 15^th December 2020.

UoT’s Registrar Ghulam Farooq, Coordinator UoT’s Panjgur Campus Prof. Dr. Gul Hassan, DPR UoT & Director Gwadar Campus Ijaz Ahmed, Deputy Registrar Ganguzar Baloch, were also present on the occasion. Apprising the academic, administrative and development programs of the university VC briefed the team regarding establishment of Sub Campus at Panjgur, he also informed the delegation that phase-I of Turbat University was in the edge of completion while work on phase-II of the university will be started soon. Appreciating the efforts of VC UoT and his team for the development of Turbat University in a short span of time, the delegation said that the HEC would extend all possible cooperation and guidance to Turbat University particularly its Sub Campuses at Panjgur and Gwadar for the promotion of quality education in this remote region of the country.

The HEC team also visited UoT’s Panjgur Campus on 15^th and 16^th December 2020. On arrival at Panjgur Campus, Assistant Registrar Aftab Aslam along with his team warmly welcomed the HEC team. He briefed them about the educational programs, ongoing development works and other financial and administrative matters of the Campus. Besides having detailed meeting with faculty members of the concerned departments, the HEC team also inspected various classrooms, computer labs, library and under-repaired hostel. The team also visited the proposed site for Panjgur Campus. On the occasion Deputy Commissioner District Panjgur Abdul Razzaq Sasoli also met the HEC team. He assured them for providing all possible cooperation for their side for promotion of Higher education in district Panjgur.

Earlier, the Director Gwadar Campus Ijaz Ahmed along with his team warmly welcomed the HEC team on arrival at Gwadar Airport on 14^th December 2020. The delegation visited the Gwadar Campus, Dean faculty of Legal Education Prof. Dr. Gul Hassan, Director campus Ijaz Ahmed, Deputy Registrar Ganguzar Baloch, Incharge Commerce department Mujahid Hussain, Incharge Computer Science department Muhammad Akram, Incharge Education department Mahira Khan, faculty member Zain-Ul-Abideen, Assistant Director Finance Rehmatullah, and Protocol Officer UoT Mir Bahad were also present on the occasion. Besides academic progress of the campus, Director Campus also apprised the HEC team regarding future educational and development planning of his institute. On 17^th December team visited the city campus and later on departed for Islamabad via Karachi.
