Media teams from Quetta visit UoT’s Gwadar Campus.

The teams from different media houses visited Gwadar Campus of University of Turbat and called upon campus Director Ijaz Ahmed in his office. 

A team which consists on DGPR Shehzada Farhat Ahmedzai, Noor Elahi Bugti Bureau Chief Abtak TV at Quetta, Muhammad Afzal Mughal Senior Reporter Daily Mashriq Quetta, Muhammad Khair BBC Reporter at Quetta, Sami Ullah Lashari PRO to DIG National Highway & Motorway Police (NHMP) West Zone Quetta, Jalal Manzoor DSP Headquarters Sector Gwadar NHMP and other professionals arrived in campus on 19th January2021. 

While another team from Pakistan Television (PTV) Quetta Center visited Campus on 20th January, 2021. Mir Salam Jogezai Senior News Editor (SNE) was leading the team.

AD Admin & HR Abdul Majid. AD Finance Rehmatullah, Office Assistant Naseer Muhammad, Secretary to Campus Director Iftikhar Ahmed and other staff of the campus were also present on the occasion. 

Besides the teamwork efforts made by the employees of UoT and its campuses, the visitors were also briefed about the need of educational institutions in Gwadar. Campus Director informed them that under the leadership of UoT’s Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Turbat University found a prominent place among the best rising university of the country in short span of time, adding that the act of Gwadar University was approved by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan in November 2018 and this campus would be upgraded into a full-fledged university as Gwadar University in due course of time. 

The visitors appreciated the efforts of Vice Chancellor and campus team for providing quality education to its students and promoting higher education in this far flung region of the country. .

They visited different sections of the campus and recorded video footages of the campus building for broadcast on different channels including PTV.

The purpose of their visit was to make a special report in order to highlight the development projects underway in Gwadar including progress, achievements, challenges and future plan of the UoT’s Gwadar Campus.
