Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar granted 0.6M for deserving students.

Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, a famous parliamentarian and Human Rights activist has granted Rs. 6 (M) for the financial assistant of those deserving and talented students of UoT who could not pay their tuition fee and other dues due to the low income of their families.

Vice-Chancellor University of Turbat (UoT) Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir and Registrar Ghulam Farooq on 3rd February 2021 distributed Scholarship Award Letter to the eleven deserving students.

This is the second time that Senator Khokhar has granted scholarships to the deserving students of UoT. Last time he had donated Rs. 0.5M which were distributed among seven deserving students of UoT for their tuition fees and other dues. 

VC Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir extended his whole-hearted thanks to Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar for providing scholarships to the deserving students of his institution. He requested the philanthropists to come forward for providing financial assistance to the deserving students of UoT, adding such a program will encourage the students from low-income families to pursue their higher education. He said that it would be very difficult for underprivileged students of remote areas to pursue their higher education without any financial assistance.

Director Finance Shabek Syed, Incharge Financial Aid Office Abdul Jabbar, and deserving students were also present on the occasion.
