GOC distributes laptops among the students of UoT’s Gwadar campus

The Laptop Distribution Ceremony was organized by the University of Turbat’s Gwadar campus at Army Public School Gwadar on 13th July 2021. The chief guest of the event, General Officer Commanding (GOC) 44 Special Security Division, Maj Gen Muhammad Aamer Najam distributed laptops among the students of UoT’s Gwadar campus. The event was attended by Commandant 440 Brigade, Brigadier Kamal Anwar Chaudary, Director UoT’s Gwadar campus Ijaz Ahmed, Major Zarak, Assistant Commissioner Gwadar, Muhammad Athar Abbas, officers of Armed Forces, heads of different departments, educationists, notables, media persons, faculty members, admin staff and students of UoT’s Gwadar campus.
Speaking on the occasion, Maj Gen Muhammad Aamer Najam said that “providing laptops to the students of UoT’s Gwadar campus is just the beginning. We have planned to take every step possible for the further development of Gwadar campus and other educational institutions of Gwadar.” He said that no nation can develop without education and promoting quality education in Gwadar was on top among his priorities. He also mentioned enormous opportunities likely to be offered by CPEC for locals of Gwadar. He said that “up gradation of existing campus into a full-fledged university as University of Gwadar is the need of the time.” He also expressed his desire to further enhance the cooperation and collaboration with University of Turbat.
On behalf of Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, Campus Director, Ijaz Ahmed welcomed the chief guest Major General Muhammad Aamer Najam to the august ceremony and thanked him for his interest towards development of UoT’s Gwadar campus. At the end of the event, the Campus Director presented a shield to the Chief Guest.
