UoT and BUETK To Strengthen Ties for Academic Excellence

A delegation from Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology Khuzdar (BUETK) led by Engr. Prof. Dr. Maqsood Ahmad, Vice Chancellor of BUETK visited the University of Turbat (UoT) on November 1, 2023.
The University of Turbat’s Dean of the Faculty of Literature and Languages, Dr. Abdul Saboor Baloch, and Registrar Ganguzar Baloch warmly welcome the delegation which included Dr. Sohrab. Khan Bezinjo, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, and other officials of BUETK upon their arrival at the Main Campus of UoT.
The Dean and Registrar of the University of Turbat briefed the delegation regarding the progress and achievements of their university in the field of imparting quality education, research, and infrastructure.
BUETK’s Vice Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Dr. Maqsood Ahmad commended the UoT’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, and his team for their efforts in the academic and infrastructure development of the University of Turbat.
During the meeting, the officials of the UoT and BUETK pledged to enhance the joint efforts for promoting the concept of entrepreneurship and self-employability in both institutions. They also discussed different ideas and proposals to address the challenges faced by the universities of Balochistan.
The officials of both universities highlighted the potential areas of collaboration that could benefit the students, faculties, and youth of this region emphasizing the better utilization of resources to enhance the quality of education and research.
The delegation also explored different sections of the university including the solar system, data center, gymnasium, and library, as well as different academic and administrative departments of UoT.
Prof. Dr. Abdul Saboor Baloch, Dean, Faculty of Literature and Languages presented the commemorative shield and annual report of UoT to the Vice Chancellor and Pro Vice Chancellor of BUETK.
