4th Board of Studies Meeting of the Natural and Basic Sciences Department

The 4th meeting of the Board of Studies for the Department of Natural and Basic Sciences at the University of Turbat (UoT) was convened on February 28, 2024, in UoT's video conference room, under the chairmanship of Dr. Jahangir Khan, Chairperson of the Department.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Anwar Panezai from the Institute of Biochemistry, University of Balochistan, joined the meeting as a subject expert member. Other members included Dr. Naeem Ullah, Dean, Faculty of Science, Engineering, and IT, Dr. Haneef Ur Rehman, Associate Professor, Dr. Niamatullah Kakar, and Dr. Amir Zeb, both Assistant Professors, and Mr. Irshad Ahmed, Lecturer in Natural and Basic Sciences Department, UoT, Ms. Zainab, Lecturer, Govt. Girls Degree College, Turbat, and Dr. Wahid Bakhsh, Assistant Professor, Govt. Atta Shad Degree College, Turbat.
The major purpose of the meeting was to align the BS programs in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, and Botany with the revised HEC Undergraduate Education Policy (UEP) 2023. The Board addressed various agenda items and reached fruitful resolutions through extensive deliberations. Notably, the suggestions and recommendations put forward by the expert members were endorsed by all meeting participants. In his closing remarks, Dr. Jahangir Khan, the Board's Convener, expressed gratitude to all members for their active participation and valuable contributions
