Advisor to CM Balochistan Visits University of Turbat, Pledges Support for Youth Development

The Advisor to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for Sports and Youth Affairs, Ms. Meena Majeed, visited the University of Turbat (UoT) on December 13, 2024. During her visit, she met with the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, and engaged in a productive discussion with deans, directors, and department heads from academic and administrative sections.
Ms. Meena Majeed also visited different sections of the university, including the Youth Development Center, the Institute of Balochi Language and Culture, and the central library. She also interacted with students, gaining insights into their academic experiences and aspirations.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan informed her about the university's financial challenges and missing facilities. The Vice-Chancellor emphasized the importance of her support in addressing these challenges to further enhance the institution's academic and extracurricular activities.
Ms. Meena Majeed expressed her firm commitment to supporting the university’s initiatives. She assured the administration that efforts would be made to secure funding for student study tours and exposure visits. Additionally, she pledged to assist in improving youth-oriented facilities and ensuring the successful organization of the upcoming sports week at UoT.
She highlighted the government of Balochistan's commitment to investing significantly in the youth to empower them politically, socially, and economically.
