The Inspector General Balochistan Frontier Corps South, Major General Bilal Sarfraz meets University of Turbat faculty

The Inspector General Balochistan Frontier Corps South Major General Bilal Sarfraz visited the University of Turbat (UoT) on 16th December, 2024 and held an interactive session with the university faculty and staff. He was welcomed by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Mansoor Ahmed, Registrar Ganguzar Baloch, Deans of Faculties, Directors, Chairpersons of Teaching Departments and administrative staff. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the role FC South for supporting the educational institutes and particularly the UoT with regard to students scholarships, provision of buses for transport facilities, students visits, and other facilities. The IG FC commended the UoT for its academic progress with a short period of time. He acknowledged the estimable services of faculty members and emphasised on research excellence and prompting scientific learning environment in the universities. He said that he had a high opinion of youth’s potential talent and competency of this region, which need to be further explored for the human resource development for Balochistan and rest of country. The session also included question-answer segment in which the faculty and staff highlighted various financial and other related matters of higher educational institutes in the province. The IGFC assured for utmost support to the educational institutes. The Vice Chancellor extended his gratitude expressed appreciations for the initiative of holding interactive sessions with the faculty and students in the public sector universities.
