Turbat University’s Economics Department Hosts Seminar on Scholarships and Higher Education Opportunities

The Economics Department of the University of Turbat (UoT) organized a seminar on “Strategies and Procedures for Obtaining Scholarships in Pakistan and Abroad,” on October 16, 2025, at UoT.
Chaired by Dr. Mohammad Yaqoob, Chairperson, Department of Economics, the seminar included speakers Dr. Fida Ahmed, Director, Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization, Dr. Yasir Noor, PhD in Renewable Energy, China, CSC Scholar, and Jameel Ahmed, Recipient of HSE University Global Competition Scholarship, Russia highlighted significance of the scholarships for studying in Pakistan and abroad.
The session covered scholarship search techniques, effective applications, and enhancing academic profiles, followed by an interactive Q&A. Dr. Yaqub concluded by thanking participants and praising the seminar as informative, motivational, and beneficial for students.
