UoT Political Science Department’s Board of Studies Focuses on Curriculum Modernization and Academic Excellence

The 6th meeting of the Departmental Board of Studies of the Political Science Department,
University of Turbat (UoT) was held on October 17, 2025, to update the various academic programs offered by the department.
The meeting was chaired by Changiz Ahmed, Chairman of the Department. Other participants included Professor Dr. Muhammad Ali, Chairman Department of Political Science, University of Karachi, Dr Muhammad Salim, Assistant Professor Department of Political Science UoT, Dr Riaz Ahmed, Director Qulaity Enhancement Cell, UoT, Mr. Shah Hussain, Lecturer Department of Political Science Department, Ms. Sidra Ghafoor, Lecturer Political Science Govt Girls Degree College Turbat, and Mr Kamiran, Lecturer Govt Ata Shaad Degree College Turbat.
The august forum discussed various academic agendas, including the curriculum for BS in Political Science, Associate Degree in Political Science, and International Relations (IR), and MPhil in Political Science Programs.
The members decided to align the degree programs of the university with the syllabus of competitive exams like CSS and PCS to prepare potential aspirants for the said exams.
In his concluding remarks, the Chairman, Mr. Changez Ahmed expressed his gratitude to all members for their valuable contributions toward the continued progress of the Department of Political Science.
