University of Turbat and University of Makran Agree to Promote Academic, Co-curricular, and Sports Collaboration

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Makran, Panjgur, Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Baloch, called on Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, Vice Chancellor of the University of Turbat, in his office on October 22, 2025.
During the meeting, both Vice Chancellors held a detailed discussion on strengthening mutual collaboration between the two universities in the areas of education, research, and co-curricular development.
On this occasion, both leaders agreed to design joint programs aimed at promoting curricular and extracurricular activities among students of the two universities. They also decided to organize a bilateral sports series between the football and cricket teamsof the University of Turbat and the University of Makran.
Furthermore, both Vice Chancellors agreed to formulate a strategy for organizing indoor and outdoor sports events to promote discipline, leadership quality, tolerance, teamwork, and harmony among students.
It was also decided that the sports departments of both universities will soon conduct joint trials for team selection and prepare a comprehensive sports schedule through mutual consultation.
According to the university spokesperson, enhanced collaboration between the University of Turbat and the University of Makran in the field of sports will enable student athletes from both institutions to excel in national-level competitions, bringing honor and recognition to their respective universities.
Mr. Ijaz Ahmed, Director Public Relations, Mr. Chakar Hayder, Director Student Affairs, and Mr. Mazhar Gichki (Director Sports of Uo, and Mr. Aftab Aslam, Deputy Registrar of the University of Makran were present during meeting.
