Turbat University Holds 4th Board of Studies Meeting to Revise Zoology Programs in Affiliated Colleges

The 4th meeting of the Board of Studies for BS and AD programs in Zoology for colleges affiliated with the University of Turbat (UoT) was held at the UoT on December 17, 2025.
Dr. Jahangir Khan Achakzai, Chairperson of the Department of Natural and Basic Sciences, presided over the meeting.
Subject experts from the University of Balochistan, Dr. Shahabuddin Kakar and Dr. Saeed Ahmed Essote, participated via video link. Dr. Riaz Ahmed, Director, QEC at UoT, Dr. Fida from Government Degree College Pasni, Ms. Gul Afroz, Head of the Zoology Department at Government Girls Degree College Turbat, as well as college’s faculty members Ms. Aziza Aman and Ms. Mahtab Ibrahim also attended the meeting.
The board members thoroughly deliberated on the BS and AD Zoology programs, aligning them with the revised HEC Undergraduate Education Policy.
During the meeting, various agenda items related to enhancing the quality of education in affiliated colleges were discussed and resolved.
In his closing remarks, Dr. Achakzai thanked the members for their active participation and valuable contributions.
According to the university spokesperson, the University of Turbat, under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, is committed to taking every possible step to build faculty capacity, enhance teaching standards, and modernize the courses at all affiliated colleges.
