Turbat University’s Directorate of Graduate Studies Holds MPhil Thesis Defense Sessions

The Directorate of Graduate Studies at the University of Turbat (UoT) conducted viva voce examinations of MPhil scholars from the Departments of Biochemistry, Chemistry, and English.
The viva voce examination in Biochemistry was chaired by Prof. Dr. Abdul Saboor Baloch (TI), Dean, Faculty of Literature and Languages, while the Chemistry session was chaired by Dr. Muhammad Tahir Hakeem, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences. The viva voce examination in English Literature was chaired by Dr. Haneef-ur-Rehman, Associate Professor, Department of Natural and Basic Sciences, UoT.
In the Department of Biochemistry, MPhil scholar Ms. Maria Noor successfully defended her thesis. Her research work was evaluated by Dr. Munir Ahmed, Associate Professor at the University of Lahore. The research was completed under the supervision of Dr. Najeebullah, Lecturer, Department of Natural and Basic Sciences, UoT.
In the Department of Chemistry, MPhil scholars Ms. Mahjan, Ms. Sara Hameed, and Ms. Maheen successfully defended their theses. Their theses were evaluated by Dr. Muhammad Sufiad Khan, Assistant Professor at the University of Chitral, and Dr. Sana Ullah Khan, Assistant Professor at the University of Lakki Marwat. They conducted their research under the supervision of Dr. Roohullah, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, UoT.
In the Department of English, MPhil scholar Ms. Zoha also successfully defended her thesis. The external examiner was Dr. Saman Salah, Assistant Professor at Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University, Quetta. The research was supervised by Dr. Adnan Riaz, Assistant Professor, Department of English, University of Turbat.
