Deputy Chairman, District Council Kech and Mayor Turbat Visit Turbat University, Assure Full Support for University Progress

The Mayor of Turbat, Balakhsher Qazi, and Advocate Bahad Jameel Dashti, Deputy Chairman, District Council Kech, visited the University of Turbat (UoT) in previous days. During the visit, they distributed laptops among deserving students under the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme and participated in the inaugural ceremony of the European Commission-funded Smart Classroom.

Dr. Kamal Ahmed, Pro Vice Chancellor، Dr. Abdul Saboor Baloch (TI), Dean, Faculty of Literature and Languages, Ganguzar Baloch, Registrar, and Engineer Bilal Ur Rehman, Focal Person for the PM Laptop Scheme at UoT, were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Advocate Bahad Jameel Dashti and Balakhsher Qazi appreciated the efforts of the faculty and administrative staff under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan in the rapid development of the University of Turbat. They assured their full support for the promotion of higher education and the continued development of the university.

According to the University Public Relations Department, the Vice Chancellor thanked guests for their visit, support, and keen interest in the progress of the university and the welfare of its students. He stated that equipping students with digital technology is one of UoT’s top priorities in preparing them to meet the demands of the modern era.
Engineer Bilal Ur Rehman informed the guests that more than 1,400 laptops have been distributed among deserving students under the PM Laptop Scheme, while a similar number of students also received laptops last year.
