UoT’s Pro-VC Visits IT Classes at City Campus, Reviews Training Facilities, and Learning Outcomes

Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of Turbat (UoT), Dr Kamal Ahmed, on September 21, 2026, visited ongoing classes in artificial intelligence, digital photography, and other IT and professional courses initiated by UoT at its City Campus.
He was accompanied by Registrar Ganguzar Baloch, Director Public Relations Ijaz Ahmed and Head of the Department of Law Mahmood Ameer. The visit aimed to evaluate the quality of digital training, student attendance and facilities available for practical work.
During the visit, Dr. Kamal Ahmed inspected computer labs and classrooms and held discussions with instructors and students, seeking feedback on course content, software, teaching methods and internet facilities. He expressed satisfaction with the standards in place.
Speaking on the occasion, he said proficiency in artificial intelligence and IT had become essential for the future of young people. He commended students for their commitment to acquiring digital skills, adding that the university, under Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Gul Hasan, was using all available resources to equip regional youth with modern technology and professional training. He urged students to use smartphones as tools for building their careers rather than for entertainment alone.
Dr Kamal Ahmed also visited classes for digital and professional skills courses being run for youth under the Balochistan government's RISE program.
