First Selection Board to appoint higher Faculty members held at UoT.

To strengthen the academia of the University of Turbat, the first selection board for hiring the services of higher faculty members, conducted at City Campus University of Turbat. The meeting of the Selection Board held under the chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor University of Turbat Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir. Many candidates were interviewed by the Selection Board for the position of Assistant Professor in different subjects that included Management Sciences, Computer Science, Chemistry, Balochi and Political Science. The Pro Vice Chancellor University of Turbat Dr. Abdul Saboor, Registrar UoT Muhammad Hayat, Pro Vice Chancellor LUWAMS Dr. Gul Hassan Baloch, Vice Chancellor Loralai University Dr. Abdullah Khan, Mr. Ghulam Rasool Khalid and Mr. Bashir Ahmed Baloch were among the other members of the Selection Board. While Vice Chancellor Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari Karachi Dr. Akhtar Baloch, Ex Vice Chancellor University of Balochistan Dr. Abdul Nabi, Director Institute of Management Sciences, University of Balochistan Dr. Jan Mohammad and Assistant Professor Computer Science University of Balochistan Dr. Waheed Noor were also invited in the Selection Board as Subject Expert.
Earlier, a formal welcome ceremony was arranged in the honor of noble guests at University Campus which were also attended by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Abdul Saboor Baloch, faculty members and other administrative staff of the University of Turbat. While addressing to the participants of the Welcome Ceremony, the Vice Chancellor University of Tubat pinpointed the performance and the major educational and infrastructural developments of the University of Turbat which are achieved within a short span of time of two years. He said that despite the heavy odds and daunting challenges that it had to face at the time of its inception, University of Turbat has finally succeeded in carving an educational revolution in the region through its wholehearted commitment to academic distinction and taken the first steps towards engendering an educational dynamism in the domain of higher learning by means of personality growth and furnishing career choice to the youth of the region.
