5 Day Professional Development Program at Gwadar Campus

The Vice Chancellor University of Turbat Prof Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir has said that his institution had always put great emphasis over the professional development programs and workshop to enhance the capacity building of faculty and administrative staff and for the promotion of research culture in university because the institutions of higher learning flourish on the resourcefulness of their faculty and administrative human resource. He was speaking on the occasion of inaugural ceremony of a 5-Day Professional Faculty Development Program organized by QEC University of Turbat in collaboration with Learning Innovation Division of Higher Education Commission at UoT Gwadar Campus on Monday April 17, 2017.
He said the training program of same kind has always been a source of improving teaching skill with modern techniques and would open new vistas for personal and professional development. He assured the faculty members at Gwadar Campus to extend them all possible incentives and facilities for the growth of higher education in Gwadar and surrounding areas.
Speaking on the occasion the resource person and the guest of the honor Prof Dr Saeed Ul Hassan Chishti from International Islamic University commended the efforts put in by the university management for the rapid growth of Turbat Turbat particularly the establishment of its campus at Gwadar.
Dr Gul Hasan Director QEC Turbat University, Mr Ijaz Ahmed Director Gwadar Campus and Program Coordinator Mr Chakar Hyder also spoke on this occasion. The faculty members were also present on this occasion.
The highly qualified resource persons and trainers from different universities of Pakistan would train the newly inducted faculty members of Gwadar Campus during this 5 Days program about various profession aspects including Communication Skills, Training as profession, motivation and leadership, Research Methodology, Micro Teaching theory and practical, Stress Management, Critical Thinking and Philosophy of Research, Academic Writing and Learner Psychology.
