Gwadar Campus organized seminar on “self-management and Career Path”

University of Turbat Gwadar Campus has organized a One Day Seminar on “Self-Management and Career Counselling at Campus Seminar Hall.
The Vice Chancellor Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Prof Dr Akhtar Baloch was the keynote speaker of the seminar.
Turbat University Registrar Dr Hanif Ur Rahman and Director Gwadar Campus Ijaz Ahmed Baloch also spoke on the occasion.
The seminar was attended by a large number of students of the Gwadar Campus.
The seminar was aimed to enhance the skills of the students in order to impart them market oriented skills and to cope with new challenges and demands.
Sharing his views on the topic Prof Dr Akhtar Baloch said that “ I am glad to see Turbat University and its Gwadar Campus with a good number of students are engaged in promoting quality higher education in this remote area of the country”.
He urged the students to focus on innovation, collaboration, smart work and excellence instead of titles or status in the practical field.
He emphasized that a student must know his capabilities, strengths and weaknesses.
He said that “we should acquire education with commitment and zeal and the students of this region are second to none the only thing required is the availability of opportunities.
Dr Akhtar Baloch said the establishment of Turbat University and Gwadar Campus were the bright opportunity for the people of the area to acquire standard higher education to make their future bright and prosperous”.
At the end the participants asked thought provoking questions regarding setting career goals, time and self-management strategies.
