IGFC Balochistan South Region visits University of Turbat

The Inspector General Frontier Corps (IGFC) Balochistan South Region Major General Saeed Ahmed Nagra visited the University of Turbat on 11th April 2019. The Vice Chancellor University of Turbat Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir along with varsity Registrar Ghulam Farooq, Controller Examinations Tanveer Ahmed and other officials warmly welcomed the IGFC and other officers of FC. During an interactive session with faculty members and students held in the multipurpose hall, the IGFC highlighted the importance of peace and education in bringing development and prosperity in the country. He said that Pakistan is an Islamic Democratic Country where the rights of all minorities are protected. The session was attended by the deans, directors, chairpersons, faculty members, administrative staff and students.
IGFC further added that the Balochistan is a resource-rich province of Pakistan and the young talented generation of Balochistan would be given a fair chance to improve their skills. Our plan is to educate the future generation of Pakistan to equip them with quality and technical education which is the need of the time. He said if we turn the pages of history we observe how the peaceful nations became developed and prosperous, even they traveled from earth to space due to acquiring quality and modern education.
Major General Saeed Ahmed Nagra appreciated the growth of the university in a short time.
Underlining the success story of the university in short time the vice chancellor UoT Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir said that his institution earned a distinguished place among the renowned universities of Pakistan due to the everlasting hard work of highly dedicated and qualified faculty members and sincere administrative staff.
The Vice Chancellor presented the university shield and Balochi Chadir to the IGFC. And VC UoT also received the shield from the IGFC. The IGFC also planted a tree in the Greenland of the university.
