Cheques Distribution Ceremony under Scottish British Scholarship Scheme held in UoT

The Registrar University of Turbat (UoT) Ghulam Farooq Baloch said that his institution was using its all resources and linkages to provide financial assistance and scholarships to the talented and deserving students of the university. He was speaking at a ceremony of cheque distribution under Scottish British Scholarship Scheme held in the committee room of Turbat University here on 15th May, 2019.
Extending his thanks to the British Council for providing financial assistance and scholarships for the female students of UoT Ghulam Farooq said that in the leadership of the varsity’s vice chancellor Prof Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir, the faculty members and the administration of the UoT will leave no stone unturned for the promotion of quality education in this far flung area of the country.
Besides students the ceremony was also attended by the Director QEC Dr. Gull Hassan, Director Finance Rehmat Ullah and the focal person of the Scottish British Scholarship Schemer Abdul Qayyum Baloch Chairperson Economic Department.
Highlighting the purpose of Scottish British Scholarship Scheme for female students of selected teaching discipline, the Focal Person of the program Assistant Professor Abdul Qayyum said that “it is the education which can bring about enlightenment in life and leave a great impact on development and growth of any society and country.” He said that the students of Turbat University are second to none, they have proved their talent and capability whenever and wherever they have gotten a platform to establish their talent.
