Governor Balochistan handed over keys of busses to Vice Chancellors and Registrars

Balochistan Governor Justice (R) Amanullah Khan Yaseenzai handed over the keys of a bus to Vice Chancellor University of Turbat (UoT) Prof Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir during a ceremony held at Governor House Quetta on 11th October 2019.

Balochistan Governor Amanullah Khan Yasinzai on 11th October handed over the keys of new buses, coasters and ambulances to the vice-chancellors and registrars of Public Sector Universities as part of measures to uplift education sector.

Besides VC UoT Prof Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, University of Balochistan Vice-Chancellor Dr Javed Iqbal, Khuzdar Engineering University VC Dr. Ehsan Kakar, University of Loralai VC Prof Dr Maqsood, Mir Chakar Rind University VC Dr Ali Nawaz Mengal and SBK Women University Registrar were present at the occasion.

Speaking at the occasion Governor Balochistan Amanullah Khan Yaseenzai said various practical measures were being taken to promote standard of education in higher educational institutions in the province.

The governor said in this context, vehicle facilities were providing to government universities for students and staffs to reach their varsities on time in order to save their precious time from wasting, saying provision of such facilities would also help in enhancing performance of universities which could decrease difficulties of students regarding reaching educational institutions.

“This initiative [handing over of keys] will save teachers, staff and students’ precious time and energy,” the governor said while presiding over a meeting to review the issues and educational activities of universities.

Vice Chancellors thanked Governor Balochistan and appreciated the efforts of Governor Balochistan for the betterment of the institutions of higher education in Balochistan.
