Turbat University signed MoUs with UoB and BBSUL

University of Turbat (UoT) had recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with two Universities which include University of Balochistan (UoB) Quetta and Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari (BBSUL) Karachi for mutual cooperation in various fields, particularly research projects, and scholar’s exchange.
UoT vice chancellor Prof Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir and his counterpart from UoB Prof Dr. Muhammad Anwar Panezai signed the documents of mutual cooperation at UoB campus Quetta on 5th December 2019. UoT Deputy Registrar Ganguzar Baloch and PSO to VC Bilal-Ur-Rahman were also present at the occasion. The MoU signing ceremony was also attended by UoB PVC Prof Dr. Muhammad Alam Mengal, CE Dr. Abdul Malik Achakzai, and DPR Ameer Hamza. While on 26th November 2019 VC UoT and his counterpart from BBSUL Prof Dr. Akhtar Baloch signed the document at BBSUL campus Karachi. Director UoT Gwadar Campus Ijaz Ahmed and BBSUL Registrar were also present at the occasion.
Under the agreement, the universities will collaborate to jointly promote educational and research activities, training and new degree programs.
UoT VC said that good relations between the higher education institutes were a positive step “We need to utilize each other’s experience and educational potential to meet challenges of the day.”
UoB VC said that the cooperation with UoT in research projects and providing higher education opportunities to students would prove to be a breakthrough for both institutes.
BBSUL VC said that fresh MoU with UoT will facilitate better relations between scholars and students and it was important to ensure promotion of research materials, training and exchange program between two universities.
