UoT host Joint Review and Assessment Meeting at Gwadar campus

Higher Education Commission (HEC) organized Joint Review and Assessment Meeting in University of Turbat’s Gwadar Campus on 4th January 2020. The meeting was attended by the HEC’s Finance Advisor Mr. Bilal Ahmed, HEC’s Director General (DG) Finance Mr. Zaigham Ali, HEC’s Consultant Finance Mr. Arshad Ahmed, and HEC’s Deputy Director Budget Mr. Syed Samer Sibtain, HEC’s Deputy Director Finance Mr. Pervaiz Iqbal, Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Sukkur’s Director Finance Feroz Mehr, UoT’s Registrar Ghulam Farooq Baloch, UoT’s Director Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) Prof. Dr. Gul Hassan, UoT’s Director Finance Shahbeek Syed and UoT’s Assistant Account Officer Abdi Khan.
While Prof. Dr. Ehsanullah Khan Kakar Vice Chancellor (VC) of Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology Khuzdar’s (BUETK, Mr. Jeand Khan Jamaldini Treasurer of University of Balochistan (UoB) Quetta, Mr. Faiz Baloch from Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS) Quetta, Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS) Uthal, Mr. Fateh Khan Kasi Director Finance of University of Loralai (UoLi), Sardar Bahadur Khan Women University Quetta, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ishaq Kakar Director Centre of Excellence in Mineralogy UoB Quetta, Dr. Muhammad Usman Tobawal Director Pakistan Area Centre UoB Quetta and Dr. Mansoor Ahmed Baloch Director Area Study Centre UoB Quetta represented their institutions in the meeting.
Besides presenting the financial progress, the participants of the meeting also discussed the challenges and financial requirements of their respective institution.
Speaking at the occasion the UoT’s registrar Ghulam Farooq thanked Higher Education Commission for giving the opportunity to host the Joint Review and Assessment Meeting at UoT’s Gwadar campus.
At the end UoT’s registrar Ghulam Farooq Baloch and Director QEC Prof Dr. Gul Hassan presented shields to the guests on behalf of UoT’s Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir. The guests also visited different parts of the Gwadar campus and appreciated the efforts of UoT’s management and faculty members for the progress and achievements earned by UoT main campus and Gwadar campus in short time.
Earlier Director UoT’s Gwadar Campus Ijaz Ahmed briefed the guests regarding infrastructural and academic development of both campuses of the university.
