Vice Chancellor inaugurates Jameh Masjid (Main Masque) of the University of Turbat

The inauguration ceremony of Jameh Masjid (Main Masque) of University of Turbat was held on Friday, September 18, 2020 (Safar 1, 1442 AH) at main campus of the university.

The newly built Main Masjid building named “Jameh Masjid Jameha Turbat” (Main Masque University of Turbat) was formally inaugurated by the Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir Vice Chancellor University of Turbat, in the presence of faculty members, administrative staff, project team and Ulemas including Ghulam Farooq Registrar University of Turbat, Dr. Haneef Ur Rahman Dean Faculty of Science and Engineering, Tanveer Ahmed Controller Examination, Ijaz Ahmed Director UoT’s Gwadar Campus, Moulana Zuhair Pesh Imam, Maulavi Mukhtar Ahmed Naib pesh Imam,Engineer Manzoor Ahmed Project Director, Dr. Adeel Ahmed Assistant professor, Dr. Waseem Barkat Assistant Professor Dr. Naeem Ullah, Dr. Roohullah, Abdul Hakeem, Abdul Jabbar, Changez Ahmed, Engineer Bilal Ur Rahman PSO to Vice Chancellor, Ganguzar Baloch Deputy Registrar, Ghous Bakhsh Assistant Registrar, Meer Bahad Protocol
Officer, Salman Essa PRO and other staff of the university.

After the inauguration of the Masjid, the Vice Chancellor and other offered Dua.
Vice Chancellor along with administrative and academic staff and student offered Jumma prayer in the Jama Masjid. He also visited different parts of the masjid.
Speaking on this occasion Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir said that the pass out graduates from this institution will be economists, educationists, teachers, administrators, businessmen, bankers, scientists, lawyers’ entrepreneur and also good citizens of the country and righteous slaves of God.

He said that it is the time to demonstrate human kindness and to spare no efforts in developing peace and tolerance in our communities, nations and indeed throughout the world.

Vice Chancellor said that our religion seeks to bring people together through love and dialogue and never through force or fear. Vice Chancellor said it has always been his heartily wish to be honored by inaugurating the masjid by his hands. He asked the Pesh Imam of Masjid to identify further necessities and other facilities that are
required for the Masjid. He also asked Project Director to take every steps possible for the maintenance of the Jameh Masjid.

Project Director of the university Engineer Manzoor Ahmed briefed Vice Chancer about the project of the Jameh Masjid and said that this mosque was constructed with unique design and with great infrastructure for offering prayers.
