HEC recognizes UoT’s Panjgur Campus

After evaluation and physical inspection of Panjgur Campus of University of Turbat, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized the Panjgur Campus, according to a letter No. 17-76/HEC/A&A/ Acc./2019/1012 issued from HEC’s Accreditation & Attestation department on 7th January 2021.

After ascertaining the available academic and infrastructure facilities at Panjgur Campus in accordance with the HEC criteria, the Commission approved “No Objection Certificate (NoC)” in favor of the university's Panjgur Campus.

 Earlier, the HEC’s Accreditation/Inspection Committee visited Campus on 15th December, 2020 to ascertain the resources provided at university’s campus. 

After receiving the confirmation of recognition, the UoT’s Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir felicitated Director QEC, administrative and academic staff of the main and Panjgur campus for the achievement.

 “The establishment of Panjgur Campus is a great opportunity for the youth to get affordable quality education in their city,” Dr. Sabir said, adding the students had to go for higher education to other cities of the country.

VC said that his administration was committed to ensure quality education in accordance with HEC guidelines in all campuses of the university. 

He said that the academic activities in Panjgur Campus were started from spring 2020 semester and “we are moving forward according to the needs of modern times in a changing world with the responsibility to ensure quality education in all varsity’s campuses with a futuristic mindset.”

Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir said that it was an honor for us that the both campuses of the university at Gwadar and Panjgur were accredited as recognized campuses of the HEC within the first year of their beginning.
