Vice Chancellor chairs the 16th meeting of ASRB

The Vice-Chancellor, University of Turbat (UoT), Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad has said that we are committed to fostering an environment that encourages our faculty members and students to conduct quality research on prevailing issues which can help in addressing the challenges of the contemporary era. He expressed these views while presiding 16th meeting of the Advanced Studies & Research Board (ASRB) of UoT, which was held here on Friday, the 26th of May 2023 in the video conference room of the University of Turbat.
Vice Chancellor said that we are utilizing all resources to facilitate our researchers to explore new ideas and collaborate with scholars of prominent national and international institutions.
Earlier, the Dean Academics and Secretary of ASRB Dr. Adeel Ahmed presented the agenda of the meeting for deliberation and decision that included confirmation of the minutes of the 15th meeting of ASRB, theses evaluation reports, viva voce reports of MPhil scholars of the Institute of Balochi, Language, and Culture (IBLC), Department of Chemistry, and MS Business Administration. The forum approved the scholar’s cases for the award of Mphil degrees in the Department of Chemistry, IBLC, and MS Business Administration. In addition, the ASRB discussed and resolved the synopsis standard format and emphasized the promotion of research culture at the University of Turbat. The meeting was attended by the Deans, Director QEC, Director ORIC, Director of Academics, Controller of Examinations, Principals of Affiliated Colleges, and other members of the ASRB.
