Computer Science Department hosts a webinar on "IoT and Blockchain Technologies."

An informative and inspiring webinar lecture was organized by the Department of Computer Science at the University of Turbat (UoT) on October 31, 2023.
Prof. Dr. Celestine Iwendi was the Guest Speaker who delivered a lecture on the Internet of Things (IoT) and Blockchain technologies. Besides UoT’s faculty and students, the webinar was also attended by guests online.
Prof. Iwendi is an IEEE Brand Ambassador with a distinguished background in Electronics Engineering and a seasoned faculty member at the University of Bolton, United Kingdom.
Professor Iwendi provided a comprehensive understanding of the potential of IoT and Blockchain technologies to drive innovation and transformation across various industries.
The moderator of the webinar, Dr. Rashid Ali, Chairperson of the Computer Science Department, in his opening remarks warmly welcomed the esteemed guest speaker and other participants. He expressed thanks and appreciation to Prof. Iwendi for dedicating time to share his expertise on this significant topic. He also extended gratitude to Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, the VC of UoT for reinforcing the university's commitment to nurturing innovative technology education and research at UoT. He said that such a lecture serves as a testament to this commitment.
